ISLAMABAD: The Met office has forecast rain-thunderstorm with isolated heavy falls at scattered places in Islamabad, upper Punjab, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sargodha divisions, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat, D.I Khan, Bannu divisions, FATA and Kashmir, and isolated places in upper Sindh, South Punjab and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Heavy falls may generate flash flooding and landslides in the vulnerable areas of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. Temperature of some major cities recorded as Islamabad 26 degree centigrade, Lahore 27 Karachi 29, Peshawar28, Quetta 33, Gilgit 20, Murree 18 and Muzaffarabad 24 degree centigrade.
