Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif highlighted that Pakistan’s survival and progress depend on adhering to the principles of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. She made the remarks on the 77th death anniversary of the nation’s founder. Maryam Nawaz praised Quaid-e-Azam’s leadership and vision, calling him a symbol of integrity, truthfulness, and fearless decision-making that guided Pakistan through its formative years.
The CM emphasised that Quaid-e-Azam’s core principles of faith, unity, and discipline remain vital for achieving national goals. She said that without these values, the country cannot reach its true potential. Maryam Nawaz urged citizens and leaders alike to rise above self-interest and focus on building a strong, prosperous Pakistan in line with the Quaid’s vision.
Maryam Nawaz further highlighted that Pakistan is striving towards justice, tolerance, and development. She said that following Quaid-e-Azam’s ideals is essential to achieve these goals. According to her, his principles are not only a moral compass but also a practical guide to overcome challenges in today’s rapidly changing world.
She underlined that Quaid-e-Azam’s thoughts continue to act as a guiding light for the nation. Citizens, she noted, must draw inspiration from his vision and apply it in daily life to strengthen national unity and social harmony. Leaders, in particular, should model their actions on his fearless leadership and commitment to Pakistan’s welfare.
Maryam Nawaz prayed that Allah Almighty grant the nation the strength and wisdom to fulfill Quaid-e-Azam’s dream. She stressed that every Pakistani has a responsibility to safeguard the country’s sovereignty, development, and values by following the path laid by the nation’s founder.
She concluded by calling on all Pakistanis to renew their pledge to uphold Quaid-e-Azam’s legacy. According to her, embracing his principles of integrity, unity, and discipline is the key to securing Pakistan’s future and achieving sustainable progress for generations to come.
